Sheridan Maine is urgently seeking a Payroll Professional to undertake an initial temporary contract with our client based in Eastleigh.This is position offers a hybrid working arrangement (3 days in the office, 2 days from home).About the Role:We’re seeking a motivated Payroller with experience using Moorepay software, a solid understanding of the payroll process and up to date knowledge of current legislation to manage our clients payroll.   Key Responsibilities of the Payroll Officer:
  • Managing end to end payroll monthly payroll
  • Ensuring timely & accurate payroll reporting to the HMRC
  • Calculating SSP, SMP and SPP
  • Generate and create monthly payroll journals
  • Overseeing all aspects of the online company expenses facility
  • Reporting and analysis of payroll data.
  • Tax year end processes – P60s and legislation updates.
  • Monthly reconciliation of designated bank accounts.
  • Processing of cash expenses for all employees.
  • Completing annual P11Ds and keeping employee benefits records.
What We're Looking For:
  • Extensive experience in an end to end payroll position is essential. 
  • Available to start at short notice
  • Experience using Moorepay software
  • Up to date payroll legislation knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and tax regulations
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
