F-Gas Engineer
We are seeking a qualified and experienced F-Gas Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning systems. This role requires a strong understanding of F-Gas regulations, a commitment to environmental responsibility, and the technical expertise to work with various HVAC systems in both commercial and residential settings.

On a day to day basis you will be responsible for:
Installation & Maintenance:
Install, commission, and maintain refrigeration, air conditioning, and other cooling systems containing F-gas refrigerants.
Perform regular service checks, troubleshoot, and repair systems as necessary.
Ensure that systems meet the required safety standards and regulatory guidelines.
F-Gas Management:
Handle F-gas refrigerants in line with environmental laws and regulations.
Regularly check for leaks, re-charge systems, and maintain proper refrigerant levels to ensure system efficiency.
Keep detailed records of all refrigerant usage and system maintenance to comply with F-Gas certification requirements.
Regulatory Compliance:
Stay updated on relevant legislation and regulations related to F-Gas management (e.g., EU F-Gas Regulation, UK F-Gas Legislation).
Ensure all work adheres to environmental and safety standards.
Maintain F-Gas certificates and ensure compliance with relevant audits.
Customer Interaction:
Communicate effectively with clients to explain service processes, system issues, and resolutions.
Provide advice and support to clients regarding energy efficiency, F-gas regulations, and environmental concerns.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date service logs and records of all work carried out.
Report on completed jobs, including detailed information on systems serviced, refrigerant used, and compliance status.
Submit reports on system performance and potential upgrades to senior management or clients.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with other engineers and staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
Participate in training programs to stay current on industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- F-Gas qualification
- City and Guilds NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
- Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration or HVAC systems.
- In-depth knowledge of F-Gas regulations and environmental compliance.
- Strong technical skills, particularly in refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with clients and team members.
- Full driving license (due to the nature of the job requiring travel).

Overtime paid at x1.5 Monday to Friday/Saturday and x2 Sunday & bank holidays
