KS2 Primary Teacher – Eastleigh Area

Hours - 8am – 3.30pm full-time

Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience with special educational needs (SEN) is a valuable asset, reflecting a commitment to inclusive education.
- Skilled in developing engaging, impactful lesson plans that capture student interest and foster deep understanding.
- Advanced training or practical experience in modern teaching strategies to enhance instructional effectiveness.
- Passionate about making a positive impact on young people’s lives, inspiring and motivating them to reach their full potential.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills to maintain a structured and efficient learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a structured and effective teaching program that aligns with educational objectives.
- Provide an outstanding learning experience, meeting high-quality standards both internally and externally.
- Manage challenging behaviour effectively, setting appropriate boundaries while recognising each pupil’s potential.
- Promote best practices in punctuality, academic work, and home learning among pupils.
- Demonstrate ambition and dedication as a teacher, with the ability to inspire, engage, and motivate students.
- Design a curriculum that empowers students with purpose and agency in their learning.
- Work collaboratively within a teaching team committed to providing an education that prepares students with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to succeed as global citizens.
- Apply a strong understanding of assessment for learning, using it to inform planning and real-time teaching.
- Teach adaptively to address misconceptions and deepen students’ understanding during lessons.
- Provide visible, meaningful feedback to students to close learning gaps, challenge thinking, and enhance engagement.
- Foster a relationship-driven classroom culture that embodies the school’s values.
- Commit to continuous professional development for oneself and others through research, mentoring, and coaching.
