We currently have a fantastic opportunity for aManufacturing Supervisorto join a busy and growing manufacturing company based in Chandlers Ford

Job Description

Reporting into the Manufacturing Manager, the Manufacturing Supervisor will be looking after a busy production line and be involved in the completeprocess while managing a small team.

Responsibilities:

• Supervision of a small manufacturingteam
• Managing the daily schedules
• Checking the stores team have supplied the correct materials
• Assigning work to the team
• Improve / streamlineexisting and new processes and performances for the production line and reducing time lost.

Ideal Skills and Experience:

The ideal Production Supervisor will have a proven background within a manufacturing environment, ideally within aleadership role,and a good working knowledge of quality associated processes. Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writingas well as good Microsoft applications experience andthe ability to motivate and grow the team and encourage a culture of continuous improvement throughout the department.

Lean manufacturing principles and 5S awareness would be advantageous.

• Salary - 30,000
• Hours - 6.00am - 2.00pm
