Quality Control Team Leader
We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join a leading manufacturing company based in Eastleigh for a Quality Control Team Leader.
Introduction
Our client are looking for someone to drive and support development of a small team within the quality control team as well as maintaining the manufacturing schedules and improve efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Quality Control teams’ daily activities, ensuring each member of staff has clear expectations for the day and targets to achieve.
- Support ongoing training and development of the QC team.
- Support production operatives with quality concerns they may raise or offer technical advice throughout the manufacturing process.
- To record, report on errors and quality concerns, and any repeat issues that can be communicated back into the relevant areas to prevent the same errors.
- Ensure all products meet the required Quality standards.
- undertake point inspections within manufacturing builds.
- Manage non-conformities effectively.
- Managing return requests and change note requests.
- Ensure all product labelling and documentation are consistent.
Ideal Skills and Experience
- Management of a manufacturing or engineering team, team leading, supervising or management (however applicants looking for their next step up will also be considered.
- Quality Control experience within manufacturing or engineering
- Both mechanical and electrical quality experience.
Hours: Monday to Friday (Days)
Salary: £29,000 - £32,000 + Overtime at Time 1/2
