Excellent opportunity for a Purchasing Assistant from a manufacturing background looking to further their skills through specialist training while working for an international market leading company.
Do you have experience in purchasing with an international supply chain? Are you looking for a role that can enhance your technical skills through dedicated training and offer excellent progression opportunities into senior roles?
This company have been established over 35 years and solidified themselves as one of the market leaders of manufacturing a range of high tech equipment used in a variety of sector including healthcare, defence, automotive to name a few. Due to their continued expansion they are now looking to add tot heir highly skilled team.
In this role you will be working with an established team where you will be charged with purchasing of a variety of specialist equipment from an internal supplier base. The role will be predominantly working with high volume buying, negotiating contracts and managing relationships with suppliers.
The Role:
- Working with a team to assist their purchasing function with international suppliers
- Assist with contract negotiations and monitoring supplier performance
- Ensuring quality of incoming goods through supplier audits as appropriate
