HAYS are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated M&E Quantity Surveyor to join an expanding M&E Contractor. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the pre-construction phase and will be responsible for the accurate estimating, quoting, and tendering of projects.Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Construction:
- Conduct detailed cost analysis and prepare estimates for M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) works.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive cost plans.
- Review and assess tender documents, specifications, and drawings.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities within the project scope.
Estimating/Quoting/Tendering:
- Prepare and submit detailed and competitive quotations and tenders.
- Analyse and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
- Ensure all estimates and quotes are in line with project requirements and client expectations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market rates and trends.
General Duties:
- Monitor and control project costs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and present cost reports and financial statements.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
- Assist in the negotiation and procurement of contracts.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proven experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of M&E systems and components.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
