Senior Quantity Surveyor - Southampton

A leading multi-disciplinary construction consultancy is seeking an experienced and adaptable Senior Quantity Surveyor with CostX expertise to join their dynamic Southampton office.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on exciting residential projects while advancing your career in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor Role

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will join a supportive and diverse team, taking the lead on contract administration and cost management for residential developments. With a focus on delivering excellence, this role provides the ideal platform for a professional looking to progress to Associate Director level.

Whilst Residential developments are their primary focus, they also take on exciting Commercial, Arts & Leisure, and Education projects providing a diverse and varied range of work to keep every day interesting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive cost management services using CostX.
  • Lead contract administration duties for residential projects.
  • Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure project success.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff as needed.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor

  • MRICS qualified or holding a RICS-accredited degree.
  • At least 5 years of PQS/Consultancy experience.
  • Familiarity with Employers Agent and Contract Administration duties (advantageous).
  • Strong technical skills in quantity surveying and cost management.
  • A team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach.
  • Comfortable commuting to Southampton.
