The CMA HR Division is working with a growing manufacturing organisation based in Southampton to recruit a Lead HR Advisor on a temporary basis. Reporting to the HR Manager, the role is to liaise with leaders and managers to build HR and Talent capabilities, align with the business strategy, and deliver an efficient, compliant service that adds value.What will the HR Advisor role involve?

  • Update and ensure compliance of HR policies and procedures and provide guidance on related matters.
  • Stay current on employment law and codes of practice, sharing relevant information with HR and leadership teams.
  • Provide guidance on operational HR and Talent processes, including Return to Work, PIP, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Offer accurate statistics and KPIs to HR and Talent Management for leadership reporting.
  • Support the full employee life cycle, assist with people-related matters, and ensure legal compliance and risk mitigation.

Suitable Candidate for the HR Advisor vacancy:

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of Employment Law as well as experience managing Employee Relations cases.
  • Experience or understanding of employee life cycle.
  • Experience implementing a HRIS system (desirable).
