Grounds Maintenance Operative
Eastleigh
I am looking for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative for a temp or permanent contract with a large contractor in the social housing industry
Get on with other trades and be an asset to the projects progress.
- There is 3 months work with the option to stay on permanently
- Usual 8- 9 hour day 5-6 days a week.
- and full PPE required
- The sites will be around Eastleigh and is an immediate start for the right candidate
Van & fuel card provided (no more than 6 points)
Role will be covering reactive maintenance/day to day
Responsible for the cyclical upkeep of the communal areas to our customers. This covers a large geographical area and customers includes market rent, shared ownership and independent living communities on many estates or the whole estate. We also provide a reactionary service where we have to deal with hazards which can be anything from dumped items to clearing snow on our independent living blocks.
Successful candidates will also responsible for the management of the trees and like to retain as many as possible or replant if any are removed. We believe that the trees play a big part in our communities by providing shade in the summer and promote a healthy wellbeing as well as offsetting our carbon footprint.
A DBS Check will be carried out on completion of interviews for the right candidate.
