- Processing purchase ledger transactions and supplier payment runs
- Matching purchase orders and reconciling supplier statements
- Handling staff expenses and reconciling credit card payments
- Completing bank reconciliations and supporting transactional finance processes
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as answering calls, managing daily post and handling enquiries
- Supporting the Financial Controller with management accounts as experience develops
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as Finance Assistant / Accounts Assistant / Assistant Accountant / Ledger Clerk / Ledger Assistant / Finance Administrator / Accounts Administrator
- A keen eye for accuracy and the ability to manage transactional finance processes
- Strong Excel skills – including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
- A proactive mindset, eagerness to learn and a collaborative approach
- Experience with Xero or similar systems is preferred
