We are pleased to be working with an exciting business based near Eastleigh that are looking for a Finance Assistant to join the team on a part time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous experience to work closely with the Financial Accountant.
This role is 25 hours - offering up to £30,000 (FTE)
Key responsibilities:
- Receive all purchase invoices and code accordingly
- Ensure all subcontractor invoices have the correct VAT applied
- Collate all ledgered purchase invoices with their respective purchase orders and delivery notes
- Collate authorised purchase invoices and prepare remittance advices for the monthly payment run
- Chase any missing goods received notes
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Post payments to the ledger
- Generate and send off monthly statements
- Ensure subcontractor accounts are kept up to date
- Prepare monthly CIS submissions
What they're looking for:
- Previous experience working in a finance team
- Good IT skills including Excel
- Excellent communication skills
