We are seeking a dedicated and passionate qualified teacher to teach across core subjects English, Maths and Science. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of our students. You will work collaboratively with all staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic progress and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that are differentiated to meet the diverse needs of students with SEND.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and empowered to succeed.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage students and promote active participation in lessons.
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure the holistic needs of students are met.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in the UK.
  • Experience teaching within a SEND setting or alternative provision is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of different learning needs and the ability to adapt teaching approaches accordingly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Commitment to promoting inclusion and supporting the holistic development of students with SEND.
  • Flexibility, resilience, and a proactive attitude towards overcoming challenges.
