Our client based in Eastleigh are looking for a Powder Coater to join their growing team on a minimum 6 month contract. With their nationwide coverage, state of the art equipment and recommendations from blue chip companies and local authorities, our client are a major contender in the HVAC industry. The ideal candidate will have a drive and the willingness to learn, develop and grow within the business.
The role of the Powder Coater will involve working within the Paint Shop Department and working with various materials. Previous experience working with sheet metal or within a manufacturing environment would be preferred.
Duties of the role:
Ensure the daily order requirements are being managed to meet on time production order dates through WorkCentre capacity reservations
Working to detail drawings, instructions & standard operating procedures
Working within quality system using equipment provided to meet quality specifications
To ensure you work in a safe manner, taking into consideration the companies health and safety policy & use appropriate PPE required & supplied
To deliver finished goods to the dispatch area upon completion
To report to the line manager any issues & delays that arise during manufacture of orders
Observing all signs, instructions and procedures relevant to the client & work in a safe & clean environment
Experience Required:
- Powder Coating Experience Desired
- Previous Use of Hand/Power Tools
- Can work well in a team
- A good communicator
- Able to do Manual Handling/Heavy Lifting

- Hours: 6am - 2pm
- Up to £12.98ph (£27k as an annual salary)
