Our client, a local housing association is looking for additional team support working with the Community Safety Team. This is a role where 2 days are never the same and priorities will need to change depending on the work incoming in to the department.

You must possess excellent MS office skills especially in Excel and Word and be a confident communicator.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide an administration function to the team to include; monitoring of work queue/email inbox, taking minutes of meetings, producing agendas, scanning documents to cases, raising repairs, raising POs and ordering stock to help support customers within the community.
  • Maintain the Community Safety Team site on the intranet, ensuring all relevant documents are up to date and adjust if necessary.
  • Complete research in a timely manner & ensure any minutes & actions are stored confidentially & the relevant officer notified.
  • Ensure overall responsibility for the Noise App, including decision-making around whether procedure is followed and authorising the Noise App use. To support the Community Safety Officers in reviewing noise recordings as appropriate.
  • Support customers that have difficulties in accessing the Noise App and offering guidance.
  • Liaise with other agencies on the instructions of the Community Safety Team, this will include requesting memorandum of convictions from the courts.
  • Produce reports as required by the team including Antisocial behaviour and Domestic Abuse
  • Support the team to work in collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration that address local priorities.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • A good understanding of the impact of Anti Social Behaviour and Domestic Abuse has upon individuals and the impacts on communities
  • An excellent communicator with the ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders
  • Resilience due to nature of complex safeguarding disclosures
  • To be able to liaise between departments to ensure resolution
  • Good IT skills – Word and Excel a must
  • Demonstrate Company Values and Behaviours

Working hours

  • Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm
