An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and dynamic SEN Teacher to join our Alternative Provision in Eastleigh. Our mission is to provide a nurturing and inclusive environment where every young person can achieve their full potential.

This is a great opportunity to join an alternative provision that specialise in supporting young people with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, social, emotional, and mental health needs, and other complex challenges. With small class sizes and a person-centered approach, they deliver tailored education programs that promote both academic and personal development.




The Role:

As an SEN Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of students.

  • Support students in developing their confidence, independence, and resilience.

  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for students.

  • Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.

  • Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed.

  • Contribute to the development of individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support plans.

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Has experience working with students with SEN, ideally within an alternative provision or similar setting.
