We are currently recruiting for two Cleaners in the Eastleigh area - £13.45 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

Job Title: Communal Services CleanerDirectorate: OperationsPurpose of Role:Perform cleaning duties for designated properties and communal areas, ensuring adherence to safety standards and high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning Tasks: Maintain communal areas (entrances, stairwells, corridors, bin stores) through sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, graffiti removal, and internal window cleaning.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Perform tasks per established safety guidelines. Conduct fire risk assessments and check alarms/emergency lighting as scheduled.
  • Resource Management: Organize workloads for efficiency, maintain tools/equipment, and ensure adequate material supplies.
  • Documentation: Record material use, fuel, and work time accurately. Complete necessary paperwork (e.g., timesheets, requisitions).
  • Other Duties: Support additional tasks as assigned by management.

Skills and Experience:

  • Ideally prior experience in cleaning roles, ideally within housing or property management.
  • Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, tools, and methods.
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Valid UK driving license.
