  • Monday to Thursday: 7:15 AM - 4:15 PM
  • Friday: 7:15 AM - 12:15 PM
  • Total: 39 hours per week

Pay: 16.78 per hour (PAYE) or 22.54 per hour (Umbrella)



Job Description:

We are seeking an Apprentice Trained Fabricator Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will assist current welders in carrying out general engineering tasks to coded standards, focusing primarily on the manufacturing of large high-tension cable connections.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the fabrication and welding of components to coded standards.
  • Perform MIG and TIG welding, with MMA, brazing, and gas welding being advantageous.
  • Work predominantly with Mild Steel, with potential tasks involving Stainless Steel (thicknesses between 1.6mm and 4.00mm).
  • Support general fabrication tasks, including hand grinding and light machine shop operations.


Qualifications:

  • Experience in MIG/TIG welding.
  • Basic fabrication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks.
  • Experience with additional welding techniques (MMA, brazing, gas welding) is a plus.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team.
