Mayday Personnel is working with a friendly established company who are looking for an Export Packer/Case Maker to join their team! This is an exciting opportunity to work with a bespoke business offering expert packaging solutions for various cargo. The Export Packer / Case Maker role will be temporary ongoing and can become permanent after 12 weeks if you get on well.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience of using hand/power tools (pneumatic nail guns and wood cutting machinery experience would be an advantage)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Carpentry or wood working experience is preferred
- Flexible working times required between 6am and 6pm during busy periods
- Friendly and reliable
- Good attention to detail and able to follow verbal and written instructions
Main duties:
- Export packing equipment of all sizes into bespoke manufactured timber and plywood cases
- Using hand and power tools such as pneumatic nail guns, wood cutting machinery and industrial saws
- Measuring and cutting wood to meet specifications
- Working on-site at customer premises as well as in the main workshop
Pay:
- 11.85 to 12.21 per hour
Hours:
- Monday - Friday 8:30-16:30 (flexibility required between 6am and 6pm)
- Half an hour paid lunch break
