Prestige Automotive Valeter required to join a leading automotive manufacturer based in Ledbury benefitting from an hourly rate of £13.44 per hour on an ongoing long-term contract.
Join a world-renowned automotive manufacturer as a Prestige Automotive Valeter and play a key role in maintaining a fleet of high-end vehicles at an exclusive off-road driving experience centre. Based in Ledbury, this long-term contract offers an hourly rate of £13.44, with full-time hours Monday to Friday (8am-5pm) and a 1-hour unpaid lunch break. The Saturday shift will be every other weekend, this is a requirement for this position and must be available.
As a Prestige Automotive Valeter, you will be responsible for delivering an immaculate finish, ensuring every vehicle—inside and out—is polished to perfection. From cleaning engine components to detailing the interior and exterior, your work will uphold the brand’s reputation for excellence and attention to detail. PRIME RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE VALETER TEAM:
- Jet washing
- Application of traffic film remover
- Soap and Sponge of vehicles
- Blow Drying of vehicles.
- Leather drying of vehicles
- Interior vacuuming
- Wiping of all interior trim
- Window cleaning
- Removal of water marks
- Dressing of tyres and wheel arches
OTHER KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Attend briefings with Team Leaders
- Escalation of hazards, near misses and accidents to Team Leaders
- Working closely with a team of Valeters and detailers to ensure workload management and quality
- Adhere to Health and Safety, COSHH and Environmental procedures.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential) – maximum of 6 points
- Ideally over the age of 28 years old due to insurance purposes
- Experience of working within a professional valeting position
- Flexible attitude towards working hours including ability to complete overtime.
- Flexible attitude towards location as travel between sites may be required.
- Understanding of COSHH
