This position is part time 28 hours to 32 hours per week to suit individual needs, salary 35,000, plus death in service, pension scheme, Christmas vouchers.

The QHSE Officer will be responsible for maintaining and executing quality, environmental & health and safety standards, along with maintaining the QHSE systems that are already in place, with a focus on maintaining compliance to ensure adherence to company and customer standards are achieved. Please note you will need to have a clean driving license and your own transport as to will be required to cover another site in the Mansfield, Nottinghamshire

QHSE Officer duties:

  • Maintain the company's policies & procedures which are part of an integrated Management System in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 standards.
  • Monitoring the quality, environmental & health and safety performance across the business.
  • Report status of QHSE compliance requirements to the Leadership Team.
  • Ensure risk assessments are carried out and safe working procedures are implemented.
  • Develop a positive health and safety culture.
  • Conduct regular proactive safety inspections.
  • Provide guidance and advice to management on QHSE requirements.
  • Ensure health and safety equipment (e.g. PPE) is in place and used.
