Despatch Operative

Contract Personnel Thetford are working on behalf of one of their most sought-after clients in East Harling who are looking for Despatch Operatives to join their team.

Duties Include: 

1. The collating, picking, packing of customer orders via email and delivery/despatch notes. 

2 The schedulling of collection of orders via approved courier and preparing Royal Mail Post. 

3. Cleaning your workstation at the end of each shift. 

4. Liasing with the sales department regarding returned customer orders and any stock quieries. 

5. Picking and packingof aluminium to send for powder coating then putting this aluminium back to stock when it has been returned. 

6. Assisting in other departments, if needed. 

The idea candidate will come from a similar background; however our client promotes an open mindset when it comes to their staff and candidates who are willing to learn and put in a good days work are encouraged to apply.

Pay Rate:

£11.90ph

Shift times and Days

• Day Shift - Monday to Friday 7am to 15.15pm

ASAP Starts offered for the right candidates, an induction is required prior to starting – this is conducted in our office.
