Are you an experienced bookkeeper with a background in legal accounts? Our client, a long-standing legal firm, is seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to join their lovely team and contribute to their continued success.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and manage the purchase ledger.
  • Handle payroll and holiday administration, ensuring compliance with PAYE, NI, and VAT regulations.
  • Oversee workplace pension administration.
  • Manage Legal Aid Agency claims and debt collection processes.
  • Ensure the firm’s financial operations are efficient and compliant with Solicitors Accounts Rules.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably within a legal firm.
  • Strong knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with clients, suppliers, regulators, and fee earners.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems relevant to bookkeeping.
