The Role:

As Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, mentoring and supporting a dedicated team of care professionals
  • Ensuring the home operates in line with CIW regulations and safeguarding guidelines
  • Supporting the development and well-being of young people, promoting a nurturing and stable environment
  • Assisting with staff training, supervisions, and development plans
  • Taking part in on-call duties and overseeing shifts when required
About You:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Experience working within a children's residential setting, ideally in a senior or leadership role
  • A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) - Level 5 desirable or willingness to work towards
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • A good understanding of CIW regulations and safeguarding practices
  • A passion for making a difference in the lives of young people
