Industrial Electrician – Tredegar

Salary: starting from £32,240.00 per year – Plus overtime available

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Working hours: Monday – Friday

We are seeking an experienced an experienced Industrial Electrician to join a fast-growing engineering company.

Main Duties:

  • Qualified Electrician required for industrial installation work and OEM machine building, working at both place of work, and customer premises.
  • Work will involve building and installation of new industrial equipment such as conveyor systems, or bespoke machinery, as well as fault finding and maintenance of existing equipment.
  • Must be a good team player, however, also able to work using your own initiative.
  • Follow company health and safety procedures and wearing the correct uniform and PPE.
  • Keep a neat and tidy workspace.

About You:

  • 3 phase system installation and distribution.
  • Motor control installation and fault finding including VSD.
  • Control systems installation and fault finding.
  • Safety systems installation and fault finding.
  • Understand industrial electrical schematics drawings.
  • Pneumatic control, installation and fault finding.
  • Cable containment installation and cable termination.
  • Panel building.

Desirable Experience:

  • Ability to fault find on PLC's using software.
  • Ability with mechanical fault finding and breakdowns.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant EAL Level 3
  • NVQ level 3 qualification or equivalent, with AM2
  • BS7671 18th edition IEE wiring regulations.
