The Role

As HR Manager, you will oversee all HR functions, ensuring compliance with UK employment law while driving initiatives to enhance employee engagement, talent development, and organisational growth. You will be a key strategic partner to management, supporting business objectives through effective HR policies and practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with legal and industry standards.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and employee development programs.
  • Provide expert advice on employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Drive employee engagement, diversity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with employment law, GDPR, and health & safety regulations.
  • Support payroll processes and benefits administration.
  • Maintain and enhance HR systems and reporting to track key metrics such as staff turnover and training.

You will have:

  • Proven HR leadership experience, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Either a Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or CIPD Level 5 or above (or equivalent).
