anzuk education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a keen interest in food preparation and guest services.
As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our schools run smoothly and prepare food to a high standard.
Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items, ensuring high standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained.
Serve food and beverages to students
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the catering area before, during, and after your shift.
Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of supplies and reporting any shortages.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant, food preparation, or catering environment is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
Food hygiene Level 1 certificate or higher
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when required.
Flexibility to work varied hours, including additional hours when required.
