Salary: Hourly Rate: £14.96 hourly rate.
Job Elements
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload materials.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records of stock levels.
- Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage, and prepare outgoing shipments according to company procedures.
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized, ensuring that all materials are stored properly.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the proper handling of hazardous materials.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Must be able to legally drive a 7.5 Tonne vehicle
- Forklift Certification: Valid forklift driver’s license with proven experience operating forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment, preferably in a recycling or manufacturing setting.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures, especially concerning hazardous materials.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in a hazardous materials handling environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
