Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Senior Occupational Therapist to support children and young adults (0-25) with disabilities. This role involves delivering high-quality assessments, interventions, and ongoing care within home, educational, and community settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Caseload Management: Prioritize and manage occupational therapy referrals effectively.
- Intervention Delivery: Conduct assessments, plan interventions, and recommend specialist equipment or adaptations to improve daily living and independence.
- Partnership Building: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, external agencies, and families to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.
- Safety Compliance: Perform risk assessments and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Essential Skills & Requirements
- Qualifications: Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years post-registration, ideally with experience in community-based care, working with children, and managing complex cases.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational skills, and ability to handle complex cases. Commitment to professional development.
- Flexibility: Must hold a valid drivers license and be available for agile work across various locations.
