Sales Representative – North East, Yorkshire, and Humber
A leading UK business in the supply, manufacture, design, installation, and servicing of pumping equipment is looking for a driven and enthusiastic individual to join their team. The role is to oversee and drive sales across the North East, Yorkshire, and Humber regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and target potential customers, markets, and areas to drive sales growth.
- Achieve profitable sales in line with business targets and objectives.
- Promote all business divisions to new and existing clients.
- Ensure efficient and comprehensive coverage of the assigned region.
- Plan client meetings effectively, managing time and resources to optimize outcomes.
- Prepare and submit sales reports using the CRM system.
- Maintain and update CRM data to track sales activity and customer interactions.
- Collaborate with the internal team to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded.
- Build strong, lasting relationships with clients, fostering loyalty and trust.
- Identify professional development and training opportunities for career progression.
Working Conditions:
- This role covers the North East, Yorkshire, and Humber regions.
Additional Duties:
- Flexibility to meet the evolving needs of the business.
- Adhere to and uphold Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Undertake any other tasks as required by the business.
Personal Specification:
Qualifications & Education:
- Engineering qualification (ONC, HNC, BEng, etc.)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
Knowledge:
- Familiarity with the industry – desirable
- Understanding of pumps, pipework, and related applications – desirable
- Knowledge of pressure pipe systems and fittings – desirable
- Basic understanding of engineering principles – desirable
Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar sales or customer-facing role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
