Role- Sales Estimator

Location- Eccles

Salary-negotiable depending upon experience + benefits

Hours- Mon - Fri 8am- 4.30pm

Office based sales estimator required for our fast-paced manufacturing company, estimatingarchitectural metal work components and assemblies, materials and processes including turret punching, routing, Press Brake Forming, Welding, Assembly together with obtaining costs from sub-contract suppliers for finishing operations. Customer liaison regarding pricing / lead times and delivery schedules. 

Main Responsibilities:

• Estimating architectural metal work.

• Obtaining supplier quotations

• Manage and maintain relations with existing customers

• Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential customers

• The candidate will be expected to follow up estimates, negotiate and secure orders.

• Liaising with production ref lead times/delivery schedule

Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

• Previous manufacturing estimation / costing experience essential. (Sheetmetal / fabrication)

• Excellent communication skills at all levels

• Excellent numeracy and literacy skills

• Computer literate, Microsoft office etc,

• Attention to detail a must.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Ability to understand and interpret technical Drawings.

• Minimum of five years’ experience developing new business for construction related firms, additional years of experience may substitute for bachelor’s degree.
