The responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer are as follows:
- Reporting to the Site Operations Manager, you will lead the evolution from reactive to proactive maintenance scheduling
- Capture all evidence of machine downtime, machine failures, or bottlenecks in production
- Building robust maintenance schedules to ensure all material, spares and repairs are available to swiftly resolve any machine issues
- Developing maintenance activity and scheduling into PPM / TPM frameworks to optimize production output
- Work closely with manufacturing engineering, project management and the operations team to commission and install new equipment
- Work collaboratively with all other members of the maintenance department to optimize the performance of the existing and new facility Â
The experience required for the Maintenance Engineer position is as follows:
- HNC qualified, apprentice trained or equivalent experience
- Mechanically biased maintenance experience
- Demonstrable background in driving maintenance best practice / continuous improvement and evolving from reactive to preventative scheduling
- Experience using MATCON or other mixing machines would be highly desirable
- Proactive attitude with excellent communication skills
