Traffic MarshallJob Description:

We are seeking a responsible and reliable Traffic Marshall to join our clients team.As a Traffic Marshall, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of traffic movement on construction sites or other designated areas. Your primary responsibility will be to direct and manage vehicle and pedestrian traffic, maintaining a safe and organised environment.

Traffic Marshall Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage the flow of vehicles and pedestrians on site.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, pedestrians, and site personnel.
  • Assist with site access and egress, ensuring that vehicles enter and exit the site safely.
  • Report any safety hazards or incidents to the site supervisor.
  • Maintain clear and concise records of all traffic movements.
  • Work closely with other site personnel to coordinate activities and ensure smooth operations.
  • Provide clear instructions to drivers and pedestrians to prevent accidents.

Traffic Marshall Requirements:

  • Valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card.
  • Traffic Marshall/Banksman certification.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to give clear, concise instructions.
  • A proactive and safety-first approach to work.
  • Ability to work well in a team and under pressure.
  • High level of attention to detail.
