About the role:

This position is suited to an individual with previous parts sales/parts advisor experience within an easy commutable distance who is looking to break into the materials handling industry or who already has previous experience from a different industry carrying out similar tasks.

As a parts sales representative/parts advisor, you will be responsible for liaising with work colleagues, customers, and suppliers, as well as offering an element of sales support. This role will also support a number of engineers, so good communication skills are a must. You must be willing to get involved in the associated tasks relating to parts and service, including packing and unpacking stock and carrying out stock takes, as well as keeping those areas clean and tidy.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain inventory and full stock control.
  • Covering complete parts administrative tasks
  • Handling retail part sales enquiries
  • Actively engage with our service team and technicians.

About you:

  • Parts experience is required, but the ability to learn quickly is desirable.
  • Proactive and organised work ethic
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Within easy commutable distance to us.
  • Polite and well presented
  • Proficient in using computer equipment and stock control software
  • Ability to work as part of a team
