Excellent opportunity for an experienced Forklift Engineer to join a well-established company based in Chorley

Based near Chorley, KS Lift Trucks offer a complete solution for hire, lease, service, sales and transport of fork lift trucks and materials handling equipment throughout Lancashire and the North West.

You will join a valued service team who provide mechanical, technical and diagnostic support for a wide range of customers. Covering complex repairs to routine planned maintenance. 

Candidate Requirements
This role requires you to have a sound understanding of Hydraulics and engines. Basic understanding of 12v – 48v electric systems would be advantageous however all candidates will be considered as training can be provided.

As the main dealer for both Bobcat Material Handling, Combilift and Terberg Truck Mounted Forklifts. The company provides their engineers with ongoing manufacturing training and support whilst offering the variety to work on mixed fleets, within the North West.

If you are currently working in a different industry such as automotive, hgv or plant then please get in touch as you have transferable skills which apply to our industry.

We are also accepting applications from those who may need to further their experience with forklift trucks or within a different industry but in the same type of role. You must have a strong keen interest in mechanics, hydraulics, engineering and machinery and wish for this to be your profession. 

This role would currently suit someone who is within a reasonable distance to our yard to collect parts etc. Overtime available for the right candidate and is optional.
