Are you an experienced Electrical Design Engineer ready to lead innovative building services projects?

Our client, a forward-thinking engineering consultancy, is looking for a Principal Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on complex, high-profile developments across a range of sectors, including residential, commercial, education, and healthcare.

The role on offer is a permanent position, working on a hybrid basis, with three days at the clients office in Kent and two days working remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead electrical design for lighting, power, fire alarms, and data systems.

-Produce detailed designs, specs, and reports.

-Mentor junior engineers and review their work.

-Liaise with clients, contractors, and project teams.

-Ensure timely, on-budget delivery to industry standards.

-Contribute to proposals and client presentations.

Key Requirements:

-Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.

-Chartered or working towards CEng status.

-Strong experience in electrical design for buildings.

-Good knowledge of industry codes and regulations.

-Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, or Amtech.

-Strong communicator and team leader with a proactive mindset.
