As an SEN Maths Teacher you will be working with pupils with ASD / SLD and/or Behavioural Needs and mental health conditions (SEMH). Ideally you will have experience in Teaching both Functional Level and GCSE Maths to KS,3 & 4 with the option to teach PE twice per week,
The school will require you to have experience of delivering lessons with varied learning objectives and planning differentiated learning within those lessons. Classes will be 6-9 students with full Teaching Assistant support. As an SEN Maths Teacher on long term supply you will be responsible for planning and marking. The School will look at Teachers from a mainstream background as well as SEN; however if not your first subject, you must have the ability to develop and deliver Maths to the required level
