Responsibilities as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with special needs.
- Create a nurturing, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
- Monitor and track student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
What You Need to Be a Special Needs Teaching Assistant:
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility and creativity in adapting to the diverse needs of students.
- Experience with special educational needs (desirable but not essential).
