Daniel Owen is excited to partner with a leading client in London to find a dedicated Building Manager.

As a Building Manager, you'll play a key role in creating a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for residents. You'll be the frontline representative, ensuring communal facilities are reliable and high-quality, while fostering positive relationships with residents and contractors.



Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for residents and contractors, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with residents about maintenance updates and issues.
  • Conduct regular inspections of communal areas, identifying and addressing maintenance and safety concerns.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contractors to ensure smooth and efficient estate management.
  • Maintain accurate records related to inspections, maintenance, and health and safety checks.
  • Oversee waste and recycling management, ensuring proper collection and storage.
  • Supervise contractors, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Respond to onsite emergencies, such as fire, flooding, or security incidents, and coordinate with emergency services when necessary.
  • Monitor security systems, including CCTV and access points, reporting any issues.
  • Support property management initiatives, including cleaning, litter-picking, and external grounds maintenance.

What We're Looking For

  • A friendly and approachable individual with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience in residential property management or a similar field.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and their application in property management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience supervising contractors and delivering customer-focused services in a busy environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
