Job Type:Long term Temp, potential for a Permanent opportunity
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00am-11:00am, 14:00-18:00
Weekly pay, one week in arrears
About the Role:
R9 Recruitment is delighted to be working on behalf of a reputable Junior School based in HA8. We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable School Caretaker to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the school premises are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs.
- Oversee security of the school buildings and grounds.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling.
- Conduct regular health and safety checks.
- Respond promptly to any maintenance issues or emergencies.
- Liaise with external contractors when necessary.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a caretaking or maintenance role
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
