We have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Technician to join our existing team at Stanmore.
The Role:
The successful candidate will work as part of a strong multidisciplinary team within the centre and will learn to manufacture and repair a wide range of orthotic devices and prosthetic limbs (both upper and lower limb) to a high standard - for which full training will be provided.  Whilst attending the Derby University course for Prosthetics & orthotics, level 3 – one day a week remote learning.
Responsibilities:
- Manufacture Orthotic Devices, either CAD CAM or hand cast devices
- Understand the range of products within the orthotic market. Responsible for ensuring the integrity of the system and that it meets the requirements of the Data Protection Act.
- Highlight any problems to the manager promptly so that they can be resolved quickly
- Support the team with other projects and responsibilities as required
