About the Role as a Teaching Assistant:We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to support teachers and students in a vibrant learning environment. This role is ideal for graduates considering a career in education or planning to undertake teacher training in the future.
Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:· Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management. · Providing one-to-one or small group support to students, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). · Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development. · Encouraging positive behaviour and fostering a safe, inclusive learning environment. · Helping to plan and deliver engaging learning activities.
About You:· A graduate with a degree in any discipline (preferably in education, psychology, or a related field). · Passionate about working with children and committed to their development. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. · Patient, empathetic, and adaptable, especially when working with SEN students. · Previous experience working with children (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, or voluntary roles) is desirable but not essential.
