My client is a privately owned, family run business specialising in concrete services. They are looking for an experienced Plant & Fleet Administrator to join them on a permanent basis. This is an exciting role for someone who is looking for a new challenge with varied responsibility. 

Plant Duties:

  • Management of external plant hire
  • Negotiating hire rates with suppliers
  • Raising orders on Construct
  • Liaising with our site re hire orders
  • Ensuring compliance with plant procedure
  • Keeping Construct up to date at all times
  • Monthly Plant Damages review & report
  • Weekly comparison – Hire Reports Vs Construct
  • Resolving Plant Hire queries
  • EDMS / Lazers weekly review report
  • Price lists updating with best rates
  • Weekly Hire reports sent to site
  • Negotiating rebates

Fleet Administrator

  • Organising vehicle repairs & maintenance
  • Setting up new vehicles; Signage, tracking, fuel cards etc.
  • Maintaining vehicle log
  • Reporting insurance claims to insurers
  • Maintaining RAM (online vehicle monitoring system) & vehicle processes.
  • MID Portal maintenance
  • Out of hour usage reports
  • Ensuring compliance of our vehicles tax, services, MOT’s etc..
  • PCN management
  • FORS bronze & silver renewed annually 
  • Weekly reporting
