Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students who need additional support? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated HLTA to join an Alternative Provision in North West London.

An Alternative Provision is an educational setting that caters to students who may have faced challenges in mainstream schools. It provides a nurturing and supportive environment where students can thrive and reach their full potential.

As a HLTA in an Alternative Provision, you will play a crucial role in supporting and guiding students in their educational journey. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-to-one support to students, helping them to overcome barriers to learning.
  • Developing individualised learning plans and strategies to meet the specific needs of each student.
  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
  • Building strong relationships with students, their families, and external support agencies.
  • Collaborating with teachers and the Senior Leadership Team to create a holistic and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitoring and tracking student progress, providing feedback, and implementing interventions as required.

In addition to the rewarding nature of the role, you will be joining a school with a strong Senior Leadership Team (SLT) that is committed to providing excellent support and professional development opportunities. To be successful in this role, you will have experience working with Key Stage 3/4 students and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be patient, empathetic, and have a genuine passion for helping young people overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
