Our client is looking for an IT Support Engineer Junior with 1 year experience that wants to progress their career. The role would suite someone passionate about IT, solving problems and likes dealing with people by going to client sites. Please note that a full driving license is required for this role.
Our client is a leading managed services provider based in North West London that works with blue chip clients and provides VIP services to solve issues quickly.You would work within a small team with 30 years IT experience and be involved with computer, WIFI, Network, Router, Firewall, printing and office 365 solutions. That means you will grow with knowledge fast!
Please note that CAT 5 cabling, CAT 5 module repairs and installs of VOIP telephony on site work in person. Training will be given on networking and packet monitoring.

Previous Experience - An Advantage
-Knowledge of Draytek Router Setup
-Unifi WIFI Access Points and configuration
-Basic networking IP, DNS, DHCP, Default Gateway
-CAT5 Cabling running and or crimping
-Fault finding issues on network - no internet or computer connections
-Computer setup and hardware upgrades and or Windows OS Installations-Installing Acces Points on the wall and reviewing floor plans.
Main responsibilities as IT Support Engineer:
- Testing\tracing data cables if needed, occasional replacement of faulty or broken data sockets.
- Installing and configuring network switches and routers.
- Installing new phone handsets, patching network switches.
- Testing new VoIP hardware and setup to provide best available solution for the customer needs.
- Provide basic training to the customers on newly deployed systems.
- Setting up users\devices on VoIP system, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
