Envision People are delighted to be supporting a highly established law firm seeking a experienced Senior Solicitor to be a Head of Department for their busy property team.Role OverviewThe successful candidate will be a passionate and dedicated senior property solicitor. They will be responsible for their caseload and managment of the property team. They will have a willingness to develop managment skills and will lead on business development. RequirementsYou will have the ability to:

  • Draft legal documents, advice notes and give legal advice that is clear and concise
  • Advise clients
  • supervise junior members of the overall team
  • develop strong client relationships
  • communicate concisely both verbally and in writing with colleagues and clients
  • represent the firm at BD events

Skills:

  • Qualified solicitor with a minimum of years 5 PQE in property law.
  • Proven track record of handling property transactions.
  • Excellent communication and client care skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.

Teamwork & Collaboration

  • Play an active role within the team and support other team members during busy times
  • Supervise and take responsibility for performance management of junior members of the team
  • Involve the secretaries and other support staff in an effective way
  • Take responsibility for delegated work, ask for guidance in respect of matters which are unclear and report errors which need to be resolved
