Waste Water Treatment Operative - Elstree

My client seeking a committed Waste Operative to join their team in Elstree. This role is crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and operational efficiency of our waste water treatment plant. The position offers a pay rate of £13.47 per hour PAYE, plus holiday pay. A valid fork lift driving licence and a full clean driving licence are essential for this role. Your duties will include ensuring the waste water treatment plant area is kept clean and tidy through daily general housekeeping, monitoring and supervising the plants operations, and taking a proactive approach to cleaning and monitoring. You will be responsible for the removal and correct storage of materials and waste such as pallets, chemicals, and bales, and for monitoring waste storage areas to ensure timely collections by external contractors. Additionally, you will supervise chemical and acid deliveries, audit and inspect CBRE contractors, maintain various records and documentation, and communicate with contractors to arrange deliveries and collections. You will also undertake tasks as designated by the Facilities Manager.
