Behaviour Mentor - Edgware

Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young people? A supportive and inclusive school in Edgware is looking for a motivated Behaviour Mentor to join their team and help students overcome barriers to learning.

The Role

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with challenging behaviour or emotional needs.
  • Help students build self-confidence, develop social skills, and adopt positive behaviours.
  • Assist teachers and SEN teams in implementing behaviour management strategies.
  • Act as a role model, fostering resilience and a growth mindset in students.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking someone who:

  • Has experience working with children or young people, particularly those with behavioural or emotional challenges.
  • Is patient, empathetic, and able to build strong relationships with students.
  • Possesses excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Can remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations effectively.

Experience in education, youth work, or working with SEN students is highly desirable.
