We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 2 Class Teacher to join a vibrant Catholic primary school in Edgeware. As a voluntary aided, two-form entry school, the school prides itself on fostering a nurturing environment in a diverse, multicultural community. This well-resourced school benefits from a supportive and well-structured senior leadership team, committed to both staff and student development.

About the Role:The ideal candidate will bring a creative and engaging approach to leading the curriculum, inspiring students to reach their full potential. Experience teaching Key Stage 1 is essential, and prior leadership experience is preferred, as this role includes TLR responsibilities.

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills, a collaborative spirit, and a strong desire to share and develop their expertise.
  • Is an outstanding and committed teacher with the motivation to enhance the quality of education and deliver an exciting curriculum.
  • Holds QTS and possesses sound knowledge and experience of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

  • Upholds high standards and expectations in all aspects of school life, passionate about quality-first teaching.
  • Has experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Communicates effectively with all members of the school community and works well within a team.
  • Understands the ethos of a Catholic school and is eager to promote our values.
