Year 2 Class Teacher & Key Stage 1 English Lead

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Class Teacher to join a welcoming and vibrant Catholic primary school in Edgeware. This two-form entry, voluntary-aided Catholic school is known for fostering a nurturing, inclusive environment within a diverse multicultural community. Supported by a structured and collaborative senior leadership team, the school is committed to both student and staff development.

About the Role:We are looking for a teacher who can bring creativity and passion to their role, inspiring young learners to reach their full potential. Experience in Key Stage 1 is essential, and prior leadership experience is desirable, as the role includes TLR responsibilities as the KS1 English Lead.

Ideal Candidate:

  • A passionate and dedicated teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, with a desire to share and expand expertise
  • A creative educator, committed to delivering an engaging and dynamic curriculum
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Skilled in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • A team player who communicates effectively within the school community
  • Familiar with the ethos of a Catholic school and eager to promote the school's values
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality education and maintaining high standards
